Color Theory: Brewster Striped Kerchief

With simplicity often comes elegance, and the Brewster Striped Kerchief is a great example of this! A simple, meditative garter stitch striped fabric is the background for this versatile wrap with refined I-cord edges. Brewster Striped Kerchief Pattern by Two of Wands

Multi-colored projects are some of my favorite to design with Color Theory yarn since there are so many color combinations to work with. It allows for endless personalization and customization.

One of my favorite ways to work with multiple colors is in the form of a large wrap, where the big swath of fabric can serve as the perfect canvas to play with the different combinations.

Stripes instantly came to mind for the colorwork when I was designing this pattern to match the sleek lines of the long and lean wrap and the I-cord edging.

This is an easy level knitting pattern and the techniques involved are knitting, slipping stitches, m1r increases, k2tog and p2tog decreases, and carrying an unused color up the side of the work.
