Fall Jump-Start Roundup

It may be July, and I may be in sunny California for the summer, but there's something in my knitter soul that has me plotting for Fall already. I thought it would be fun to do a roundup of some of my favorite cozy knits to give everyone a jump-start on fall projects, because if you're anything like me your projects always take waaaaaay longer than expected to complete! And it's winter in Australia anyway, right?

Last year I worked up my entire fall/winter collection in Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick & Quick and I must say, I am so pleased I did. This is one of the first yarns I ever worked with and to this day it's one of my top 3 faves. The color assortment, durability, price, and coziness level is unmatched in my book! I have a feeling I'll be repeating that concept for this year's cold weather patterns (which reminds me... better get going on those cold weather patterns, eek!)

While I'm devastated about some colors that have been discontinued in recent years (Sandstone, Pine, and Linen .... RIP), I'm also super stoked about some new shades that have been added to the mix - namely, Graphite, Blueberry, Kale, and Fossil. Oh, Fossil. It's so good you guys! It's super similar to Sandstone but just a tad on the lighter side, and I can't wait to make all the knits in this muted, textured, delicious color.

So without further ado, here are some of my top picks for cozy fall knits. I hope you're as inspired as I am to blast the AC and surround yourself in squishy goodness!
