Oakley Super Scarf

If you haven't checked out the new Lion Brand bonus bundles, I highly recommend that you plan a trip to your local store. There is so much potential in these huge skeins and I'm delighted to share another pattern with you, this time in a new yarn - Thick & Quick.

Introducing the Oakley Super Scarf. This is an easy level crochet pattern and the techniques involved are half double crochet, double crochet, changing colors, and working into chain spaces. You can find the inspiration behind the design, more about the yarn, and the free pattern below, or you can purchase a printable, ad-free PDF here. You can also get the yarn kit directly through Lion Brand here.

This super bulky weight 100% acrylic yarn is perfect for those allergic to wool or interested in a vegan option similar to Wool-Ease Thick & Quick. It also works up so fast and is machine washable and dryable. The Oakley Super Scarf uses just one bonus bundle skein of each color, and you could finish this beauty over a single weekend.

The oversized dimensions are relaxed with simple, open stitches to keep the scarf flexible and versatile. I love pieces that can be multi-functional and wearable in different ways, so I designed this scarf to be extra wide so it could easily be worn as a wrap or shawl as well.
