Zodiac Icons Blanket: Capricorn

Although it’s not the true beginning of the astrology calendar (that’s Aries!), Capricorn does mark the beginning of the year. Personally I never set any hard and fast “resolutions,” but I love the idea of a refresh and a new beginning. This time of year is full of so many holidays, hustle bustle, and racing to the finish line of the end of the year, that it’s nice to turn the page on a new chapter afterward and begin with a clean slate - perfect timing for a new square pattern!

If you’re ready to dive into the square, scroll down for the free pattern and color chart.

This is the part where we see our progress and clearly define our system to finish. Capricorn functions best with structure. As we enter the new year, take a moment to be patient as the excitement of the pattern begins to unfold.

The vibe for the month no matter what your sign is, from our resident astrologer, Ramona:

Hi Humans, it’s Ramona here with your monthly mini horoscope. Each month I will provide your much-needed vibe check and help you stay inspired for our cosmic journey together.

Don’t forget to purchase the full Astrology Experience add-on to the KAL where you get added perks like access to the monthly “The Astrologer is IN “ knitting circle and astrology zoom session where we work on our squares, talk astrology and go deeper into the themes happening this month, and give you a safe place to ask all your knitting and astrology questions.

Welcome to Capricorn season! Time to be the boss of your own project. Capricorn’s modality (the way you express your energy) is cardinal, which is an initiator. It is here to bring in the new year, marking the beginning, the power of initiation, and urging you to do something.

Ritual check: If it feels like a chore, you need a new ritual.

Don’t doubt your progression, your art, and your path to the end. You truly are the boss of your own life. Go out and show it.

See you next month,

Xo Ramona
